Thermometer

What? A thermometer?

Yes?

If it's hot and you're bitching about it surely you want to be able to quote exactly how hot it is? Well, I do.

I bought this:

from ebay and realised there were no flat surfaces on the bike to stick it. So I put it in the gap between the console and the windshield and it rattled itself to death inside a few days. Ho hum.

So I bought another one and stuck it just in from of the headstock where it didn't suffer so much rattling. Unfortunately, it does appeared to have gotten splashed by something that's etched away the surface of the LCD.

Both these models suffered from the batteries being shaken out of contact with the connectors in the box which caused them to shut down even if they were being powered off the bike battery. Poor design.

So I've bought a different model:

which gave the impression that it would work without batteries (and has a screw down battery lid) and has a little graphic telling me if my bike's battery is about to die.

I also bought:

to tell me why I'm sweating.

I tell you, you can't go wrong with this sort of stuff.
