Having access to your money over the internet is very handy for shuffling money around. So make sure you have an Internet account for each card.

In the UK, we have these card chip readers that are required for certain online procedures. At the moment they mostly seem to be used when creating new payees (which seems reasonable). So make sure you have created your other cards as payees before you leave as you don't want to lug chip readers around with you. Surely?

Obviously, if you're not taking a chip reader with you you can't create new payees while you're on the road. How many people can you imagine having to pay directly bank to bank while on the road that don't accept cards themselves. It would be a personal payment. Just pay them cash?
