The stock exhausts weigh a ton (5.5kg each plus a lump of metal bracket). Metal Mule do a 2-in-1 replacement which weighs under 3kg and (bonus) doesn't have a catalytic converter which is allegedly better if you're putting crappy unleaded fuel through the system.
Much more importantly, the header pipes (from out of the main engine block) no longer run underneath the engine. So, not only no flimpy pipes to protect from big bashes but a greater clearance too (less chance of hitting anything anyway).
