I think I may have misinterpreted the speed of this coastal route. The last stretch from Gazipasa to here was similar to this morning's "detour" but metalled, hugging the mountainside, constant bends. My large scale map isn't helpful and no-one has been thus way from OpenStreetMap.com (I can see why).
