Hotel Bloom Star,Quetta,IR. 18:20. I'd like to be saying 'Ice Cold in Quetta' in deference to the film but no beer yet. Another day of mixed security messages: escort #1 suffered an awful bit of road for 115km and about 3.5hrs then I was set free for 85km as far as Nushki where there was a 40min wait for an escort past the twisties to the 1st checkpoint (10km) and I was free again (100km) until a little after the Lak Pass when it ground to a halt waiting for three escorts to get me the final 20km into town. A total of 8.5hrs for 330km. It's still not clear where I can go next that is "safe" or not under water still.
