Orient Hotel,Yazd,IR. This is the sister hotel to the famous Silk Road Hotel (the other side of the street leading to the Jameh Mosque). Met two Frieslanders (not Dootchmen) whipping through IR on their way to Nepal at Pasargad (nr Shiraz). They'll be in the SRH on the dirt cheap though this is only $25-well within budget. Nice mountain range around Taft,S of here. Too dangerous to stop for pics at decent locations.
