A right old thunderstorm last night. I had slept through the torrential rain, brilliant lightning every couple of seconds and thunder until the vibrations made it through my Vaseline soaked ear protectors. (When using a protective, in case of melting, bag choose one without holes! At least they went in my ears easily!)
I shouldn't go on about petroleum jelly (melting) and my chafed upper thighs but it's become a regular talking point in my helmet.
