Hotel Super Silver,Diu,Gujarat,IN. 19:45. Daman & Diu are co-administered (small world) and together with Goa are not actually part of but are administered by IN. Lots of cheap booze again, then. Which also might explain the abundance of foreigners some of whom are regular long stayers. This place is at the cheap end, the 1st place had doubled its rates and I couldn't find the next two. I'm in the big room in the basement (7 bed family room) at single not-inflated rates. The basement might get locked though. Not the first hotel I've been locked in over night on this trip. This stretch of Gujarat has been flat featureless floodplain, cultivation or scrub with no obvious geographic demarcation. Roads pretty good except the last 30km done at 30kph thanks to N IN road quality.
