PTDC Hotel,Khusdar,PK. 20:00. 16 police escorts until just after Kalat at about 2:30. To be fair the 1st escort was just over an hour late so the 16 covered 165km in 5.5hrs. I was then let loose (barring some police who were itching to use their truck but couldn't get over 80kph) for the rem. 164km. One lot forced me to sit at 40kph behind them. How does that improve my safety? This hotel isn't great so I'm hoping it's cheap. The people are nice, currently crowding in my room to see my stuff-I hope they're not eyeing it up to nick it! There's no lock-and no flush for the loo but you don't need the gory details.
