Just a quick update to note that the bike tripped over 50,000km for the journey so far yesterday afternoon but I was too enthralled by large fields of wheat to send an update at the time.
The bike itself tripped over 80,000km a couple of days ago. It'll be three years old in less than two weeks and those km have taken their toll. I'm not sure what the MOT man will say when he sees it.
I must say that garden fencing wire is proving to be very handy. It's been holding the GPS on for I don't know how long and the exhaust on for most of this trip. The plastics at the front have their share of garden fencing wire and the number plate is being held on by it too.
