21:15. New knowledge: a paper dosa is like an ordinary dosa only a metre long and as thick as your arm. Fortunately it's only 2-3x the volume. I then had an uthappam(sp?) a sort of rice based omelette/pizza (both with UK chip shop-style curry sauce) and S Indian coffee which tasted like coffee. The bill said: "SRV..IS.IN AD.TAX.THANKS" [sic] whatever that means. Managed to avoid the Hand of Unknown Hygiene handshake until after eating tonight.
