Just stopped for a breather. The roads have been pretty good until Paonta Sahib when the NH72 on the GPS was a lazily added straight line from a roundabout coinciding with a road that became a muddy bog, I discovered. The real road was then a pot-holed mess.
Just back the way the sign said Shimla 138km (through the mountains) rather than 238km (on the crappy main road).
Forested steep hillsides with plenty of terracing. Pretty but looking misty again.
Now here 3hrs later (with a signal) while some arse argues the toss about his wing mirror having nearly knocked me off.
