Eram Hotel, Shiraz,IR. 1 village nr end of mountains had all the front rooms demolished. V odd. Hit the Shiraz rush hour so stopped at 1st hotel on list: $50 (or EUR36 as the exchange rate works). Might need to shift round the cnr as they're full. V poor service in LP rcmded restaurant other trvlrs suffering the same-the son does not have the late fathers mgr abilities (he works for MS. in Dublin normally).
