It turns out it can go wrong at the first junction where a question, is this the way to Banda, was obviously interpreted as a request to go to Panna (the tiger reserve where tourists go). So an hour long loop through the countryside. No real complaints. I'll try to follow some less minor roads out of Panna town up the road.
