In Jaigarh, rather than say "there's a ferry 500m behind me" as someone later suggested the first local sent me ultimately, 2.5hrs into the day, to 10km up the road from where I started. In Rota several sent me on the 50km side of the round peninsula loop rather than the 20km side the map suggests. The LP suggests Munur is a sleepy fishing hamlet, the 100,000 people suggests not. Hotels all full (shock) and was "helped" to this homestay at a non-bargain price. Whether this is a Xmas or just a Sat thing isn't clear. Another bucket and scoop w/ cold water awaits. Great!
