Brits are OK again
Today was D-Day (decision day) as to whether India (via Iran) was on or off this year. Off means putting it all back 12 months and toddling off to Syria for keep the old eye in. Last night's research was not promising. The general feel from the Thorn Tree and TripAdvisor were that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran were simply chucking any applications from Americans, Canadians and Britons into the bin.
I phoned Persian Voyages and was told that applications for Britons were being accepted. Sold! Nasrin did make it quite clear that the Iranians could change their mind at any time but you've got to take your chances.
