I stood in the queue for 20min before realising I was meant to add my name to a scrap of paper to validate my position in the queue (which becomes a scrum again beyond the door). However, despite a trip back into town to pay the visa fee at a particular bank branch it's been relatively painless if a touch slow (just under three hours).
He said come back tomorrow at 18:30 rather than Thu which is good.
Woo! I've done something useful today!
