Hotel VIP InterContinental,Kolkata,WestBengal,IN. 17:10. The road got better but was painfully slow as it's not two truck/bus widths and when they're not passing they sit in the middle of the road to avoid tricycles on either side making it hard to pass. Then I hit Kolkata. That scuppered my plans for a quick trot round the Victoria Memorial and view of Fort William (still occ. by the military). I might scoot past tomorrow on the way out.
