Hmm, while making some notes (ranting) about the roads I see that the good road out of Panna which became rubbish crossed from Madhya Pradesh into Uttar Pradesh roughly halfway along and all the other bad roads were in U.P. Perhaps my all-India road complaints need to be more state-specific. Currently, then, Himachal P. and Uttar P. are the prime offenders. I might also have inhaled too much soot and dirt as I've had a hard time communicating with people here so far.
