After my 2nd pint I doubled checked the gate number to find it "closing." I legged it round and the woman recognised me, "I see you are first to check in but last to board." Oh dear.
A half empty plane which has landed at 5am UK time. 3hrs kip!
I'd also forgotten about these automated flight announcements at BAH: every couple of minutes. At least you can hear them unlike the mumbling PA at LHX.
