Up to Salimgarh, the original fort here where there isn't much to see but there are a couple of drawings of S and the Red Fort in contemporary times with the current six lane highway replaced with a lazy tributary of the Y... river. The RF looks even more impressive. Traffic seriously log-jammed on the Chatta(?) Chowk, the main bazaar (opp. RF) turned towards the mosque where the road had collapsed into the hole for the new multi-storey car park. Emerg. services in attendence. Flies buzzing over people asleep in the road. Not a tourist trap.
