13:40. Four and a half hours and I've not reached the border (90km). The guy I waited over 2hrs for just outside Z. has no gun and no socks and no vehicle-he's been hitching rides with coaches, trucks etc. I'm curreny stuck outside waiting in the no shade. One jerry can leaking, the other poss. OK. A bloke suggested the border closes at 2pm as well. A poor showing today by the police. A sad end to IR.
