I didn't mention the rear brake assembly shaped dent in the exhaust can (ie. a good 15-20cm of travel in the suspension halfway along the swingarm and then still enough force to to make a 5x8x1cm dent) nor that the reason the rear tyre looks worn is that is has done 9k km and I think the previous one managed 15 (on good roads). In other news Siliguri has no Internet on Sundays and I can't comvince the phone to get a data conn. (at O2's generous £6/MB-it's not 1995 anymore O2!) so I've no idea if there's special Bhutan instructions like "don't bother coming." My visa gives me one shot at the crossing. Apparently the local Yamaha manager has been by and offered free servicing next time I'm here. But I don't come back this way! :(
