Stopped for a break after the best part of six hours in the saddle and 100km to go (of 414km). As ever, roads being dual carriagewayed are a mix of good new surface, roadworks and bad old road. For some reason the good bits are short sub-km sections that toggle as being the new L or R carriageway (with hardcore in between). All together, v slow. The land did get a little arid but has returned to cultivated with dotted trees. It started nice and cool (mid-20s) but now warmed up. Can see much further than the 600m of this morning!
